Historic goal in Serbia, Manaj's shirt sold at auction

Rey Manaj's jersey, worn in the match against Serbia on October 11 in Leskovac, was sold for around 3,100 euros in an auction organized by the MatchWornShirt website, with which the Albanian Football Association has a cooperation agreement.

The winning bid came from the United States of America, after the buyer increased the initial amount of 378 euros a full 11 times. The jersey signed by the striker took on special value, as Manaj was the author of the only goal that gave Albania the historic victory over Serbia.

With this price, it becomes the second most expensive national team jersey at auction. The record is held by Nedim Bajrami's jersey from the match against Italy at Euro 2024, which was sold for 5,792 euros.

In that match, Bajrami scored the fastest goal in the history of the European Championships, after just 23 seconds.
