Galatasaray and Atletico share points, the surprise of the season eliminates the Germans

In the seventh round of the Champions League league stage, Galatasaray and Atletico Madrid shared the points after a 1-1 draw in Istanbul.

The Spanish team scored first through Giuliano Simeone in the 4th minute, but an own goal by Marcos Llorentes in the 20th minute equalized the score.

With this draw, Atletico Madrid climbs to 13 points, while Galatasaray already has 10 points in the overall standings.

Meanwhile, Qarabag pulled off one of the surprises of the evening, defeating Eintracht Frankfurt 3-2. A brace from Camilo Duran and a decisive goal from Behlul Mustafazade in extra time secured the victory for the Azerbaijani team.

This result officially eliminated Eintracht Frankfurt from European competition for this season. Qarabag now holds 17th place with 10 points, keeping their hopes of a play-off alive.
