Surprising fact: The English team has more wins in the Champions League than in the league

Tottenham have recorded a special statistic this season, winning more home matches in the Champions League than in the Premier League.

The London team, despite 11 absences, defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in London, with goals from Romero and Solanke.

The win gave Tottenham a perfect record of 4 out of 4 in their home matches in the Champions League. Earlier, the team had also won against Slavia Prague, Copenhagen and Villarreal. In contrast, in the Premier League they have only won two out of 11 home matches.

It should be noted that most of the European opponents were of a lower level than their rivals in the championship.

Tottenham are currently fourth in the Champions League group stage with 14 points. A possible win over Eintracht Frankfurt could send the team into the top eight.
