The coach of the Kosovo representative, Franco Foda, appeared very happy after the 1-0 victory of "Dardans" against Lithuania, in the last meeting of the League stage, in the League of Nations.

Speaking to the media after this match, the German technician stated that despite the fact that Jashar's red card made them defend more, he is proud of the team's play.

"In the first half, we were more consistent, we played better and scored the goal early. After the red card we were forced to run more even in the game without the ball. We were more defense oriented. However, I am very proud of the team and very happy that we achieved victory," he said at the beginning.

The German added that the team is on the right track, having picked up four wins and a draw in five games.

"In five games we have four wins and one draw and we are on the right track. The team is still not where I want it to be, but things are as they should be. In the beginning, I had to try a lot and that's why the first results were weaker", said Franco Foda.

Kosovo ended the League stage in the League of Nations with victory, while it is already waiting for UEFA's decision on the interrupted match against Romania, in order to learn the final verdict regarding the ranking in Group C2. /CNA
