Moussa Sissoko, the former footballer of Newcastle, Tottenham, and Watford in the Premier League ended up in court due to non-payment of electricity. The midfielder, who is now active in Ligue 1 with Nantes, has neglected his energy bills forcing the company to take him to court.

According to what is claimed by Yu Energy, Sissoko owes them £61,700. This debt seems to come from Sissoko's time at Watford as the player at that time lived in a luxury apartment worth 3 million pounds, while the club benefited from a whopping 80,000 pounds a week.

However, the 33-year-old, through the court's decision, is soon expected to pay the obligations to the electricity company, which has expressed its belief that Sissoko will not escape and that they will pursue the player in France as well.
