Duke, letter for the new season: Sponsorship law, vital requirement for football

The President of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, has given a message to all the clubs, coaches, footballers and staff of each team on the eve of the start of the 86th edition of the 2024-2025 championship, wishing everyone a the most successful and full of emotions season.

In his message to the clubs, President Duka emphasized the great financial difficulties they face but encouraged them to build long-term projects aimed at the growth and development of sports in our country.

The head of the Albanian football government reiterated the call for the creation of the sponsorship law by the government as a vital requirement for the support of sports in general and football in particular.

Also, President Duka wished that this season we have an even higher level of sports and competition, where clubs make their fans proud not only in the championship, but also in European competitions, as the Albanian national team did in the qualifiers of European and in the finals of Euro "Germany 2024".

Today we start the 86th edition of the "Abissnet Superiore 2024-2025" championship, marking the beginning of a new season full of challenges, adrenaline and passion. This season marks another important step in the journey of Albanian football, offering us all the opportunity to experience unforgettable moments, strong emotions and competition and respect for the opponent on the playing field.

On the eve of this season, I want to express my deep gratitude for the commitment and dedication of each of you. To our clubs, I encourage you to continue building long-term projects aimed at the growth and development of sport in our country. To the players and coaches, I wish you success in achieving your goals, showing professionalism and dedication in every match.

Despite the great financial difficulties, I wish that this season we have an even higher level of sports and competition, where our clubs make their fans proud not only in the domestic championship, but also in European competitions, as the team did The Albanian national team in the European qualifiers and in the finals of Euro "Germany 2024".

To our wonderful fans, thank you for your tireless support. Your presence in the stadiums and your support are an inspiration to every player and team.
