The President of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, declared at the Electoral Assembly that the year 2025 has been on the same level as the most successful periods of the institution he leads.

The Duke also spoke about the need for the government to approve the Sponsorship Law, which he described as an essential instrument for development. He emphasized that the growth of Albanian football comes as a result of the work of club leaders, whom he thanked for their contribution.

During his speech, he cited financial stability, investments, and infrastructure development as some of the main achievements.

" The Assembly is the place where we reflect responsibly, where we take stock of all our activities. What unites us is the passion and love for football. To develop it and bring it closer to people, neither desire nor work is enough.

Only when we are united, united and committed in the same direction, our energies turn into concrete development. This is where our strength lies. We are part of a game that has respect at its foundation. Football is passion and emotion. Reactions after a football match are normal. But different opinions, nor hasty or emotional statements, have violated our institutional foundations. The foundations are not fragile. They are built on responsibility, transparency and a vision for the long-term development of football.

The efficiency of the Albanian Football Association in 2025 has been at the same level as its most successful periods. Financial stability, sustainable investments, infrastructure development and the development of football at every level are the results.

Our championships have changed significantly, today they are many in number, both at the national and regional levels.

Football only makes sense when the stands are lively and the clubs connect with the fans. In a system with so many activities, there are different opinions and debates, about formats, about refereeing and more. However, these should not distract us from the main focus, the passion for football. The result should not separate us more than 90 minutes. After that, we all remain part of this family.

We all want to win and become champions. Only one team wins in a match. We hold these competitions in a difficult reality, with an infrastructure that is still incomplete, with limited financial resources and an economy that has its challenges. Thanks to your dedication as club managers, Albanian football is not only kept afloat, but is growing day by day.

"I want to reiterate once again, an essential issue, the vital need for the approval of the Sponsorship Law. This law is not a privilege, but is an instrument of development, formalizes the financial relationship, increases competition. Its approval would be a strategic step to give sport a more stable financial base. We have worked intensively to improve the infrastructure ," declared Duka.
