Asllani wears black and white, lands with the new team

Albanian national team midfielder Kristjan Asllani arrived in Istanbul this Friday to formalize his transfer to Besiktas.

The 23-year-old is moving to Turkey on loan from Inter, with an option to buy at the end of the season.

During the first half of this season, the player was part of Torino, but the cooperation between the parties was terminated prematurely. Currently, the clubs are in talks over the value of the player, with Besiktas offering around 10 million euros, while Inter are demanding a higher figure.

There was also interest from clubs in Italy, France and Spain for Asllan, but he chose the Turkish league. This marks the first experience outside of Italy for the midfielder, who began his professional career with Empoli in 2021.

At Besiktas he will find striker Milot Rashica, while the club also owns Ernest Muç, who plays on loan at Trabzonspor.
