Asllani ends his contract with Inter, but remains in Serie A

Kristjan Asllani looks set to leave Inter during the summer transfer window, with Cagliari emerging as the most likely destination for the Albanian national team midfielder.

The Sardinian club has secured significant revenue after reaching an agreement with Atalanta for the transfer of Gianluca Gaetano for 15 million euros. These funds are expected to be used to strengthen the midfield, with Asllani being one of the main targets.

It is reported that Cagliari aims to reach an agreement for the player's final transfer for a fee below 10 million euros.

For Asllani, this move could represent an opportunity to gain more space on the pitch. The Albanian midfielder has previously played for Empoli, Inter and Torino in the Italian top flight. A move to Cagliari could offer him the continuity he has lacked in recent seasons.
