Chelsea are preparing for a major overhaul in the summer, planning a massive squad shake-up to fund new signings. New manager Enzo Maresca has clear ideas for building the team and is aiming to bring in a world-class striker for next season, as the Londoners aim to return to the title race.
According to the Daily Mail, the club have put 11 players up for sale, including Armando Brojë, who is currently on loan at Everton. Even if the Albanian striker returns to Stamford Bridge this summer, it appears his Chelsea future is over, and he will have to find a new club.
Apart from Broja, big names like Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Axel Disasi, Joao Felix and Trevoh Chalobah are also on the list of departures. Christopher Nkunku and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall could also be sold, if the club receives satisfactory offers.
With the proceeds from these sales, Chelsea aim to sign a goalscorer like Viktor Gyokeres or Victor Osimhen, giving Maresca a top-level striker for next season.
