President Duka signs the stadium agreement

The Football Federation and the Municipality of Gramsh signed a cooperation agreement for the reconstruction of the “Myslim Koçi” stadium in Gramsh. The agreement was signed through an official ceremony at the “House of Football” premises by the President of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, and the Mayor of Gramsh, Besion Ajazi.

This agreement consists of the reconstruction of the locker rooms and the equipment and installation of artificial grass carpet at the "Myslim Koçi" stadium.

After signing the agreement, President Duka stated that this is just one of the projects that the Albanian Football Association has with the Municipality of Gramsh, while underlining the special cooperation with this Municipality, thanking Mayor Ajazi. Among other things, the head of the Albanian football government said that the Albanian Football Association is ready to cooperate with every municipality and individual for the construction of new sports grounds.

"Today is an important day for football in the city of Gramsh mainly, but also for football in general. Today at the "House of Football" we will launch the project for the reconstruction of the stadium in the city of Gramsh and we will discuss with the mayor about new projects. More precisely, we have started discussing because the Municipality of Gramsh is one of the municipalities that is closest to football and for this I want to thank the mayor for his contribution not only in changing the infrastructure and in cooperating with us but also for supporting the teams, mainly the girls' team. This is a clear proof of the care of the Albanian Football Association for improving the infrastructure in general in every corner of Albania in cooperation with the Municipality or individuals who are willing to invest in improving the playing conditions" - said President Duka in his speech.

In his speech after signing the agreement, the Mayor of Gramsh, Besion Ajazi, thanked the Albanian Football Federation for the project that will come to life soon, from which many children's football teams will benefit.

"Thank you President and the Albanian Football Federation, especially for your concrete support for the ideas and projects that we discussed together a while ago and that are becoming a reality today. Projects that consist of improving the sports infrastructure in Gramsh. There are a number of children's chain teams that will mainly benefit from this project. In the city of Gramsh, we have almost all age groups that practice football. Thank you very much for the great support you have given to the city and the sports lovers and young athletes of the city. On this occasion, I convey the congratulations of the sports lovers and citizens of the Municipality of Gramsh" - said the Mayor of the Municipality, Besion Ajazi, in his speech.
