Argentina loses an important player in the World Cup

Argentina will be significantly weaker at the World Cup in Qatar, given that one of the key players will not be in the tournament due to injury.

According to Argentine media, Villarreal midfielder Giovani Lo Celso was injured at the end of October and has not yet recovered and is likely to undergo surgery.

Lo Celso, the player without whom Argentina's midfield cannot be imagined, was injured in the 25th minute of the match with Athletic Bilbao, and it is a matter of a leg muscle injury.

In Villarreal, they hoped that the injury would be repaired with rest, but it seems that the Argentine, who has worn the national team jersey 41 times, will have to undergo surgery.

In the World Cup, the Argentines are in a group with Mexico, Poland and Saudi Arabia, with whom they will play the first match on November 22.
