"7 players from Serie A, 2-3 from Superliga", Sylvinho shows in Brazil the plans for the Albanian national team

The youngest coach of the Albanian National Team, Sylvinho, has spoken about the adventure as "helmsman" of the Rossoneri in the famous Brazilian media, "Estadao".

The 48-year-old was appointed in January in charge of Albania, replacing Eduardo Reja on the bench, with the clear ambition to qualify the Reds and Blacks for "Euro 2024".

The mission is not easy at all, however, in the statement given recently in the Brazilian press, Sylvinho has appeared very optimistic and has the greatest desire to increase Albanian football.

”Kur pranova ofertën e Shqipërisë, e dija mjaft mirë që synimi i tyre ishte një trajner i huaj. Qëllimi kryesor është të kualifikohemi në “Euro 2024”.

Kam udhëtuar në vitet e fundit qoftë në Brazil, Japoni, Australi apo në Shtetet e Bashkuara të Amerikës. M’u deshën pesë vite për përfundimin e kursit të UEFA-s.

Kam humbur pushime të rëndësishme. Ne, brazilianët, jemi trajnerë të mirë, që dimë të punojmë, jemi premtues dhe pa dyshim duam kohën tonë. Unë jam i lumtur për të qenë mes tyre.”

Gjatë intervistës, Sylvinho tregoi edhe një nga elementet më të rëndësishme, që është gjuha.Braziliani u shpreh se shqiptarët ndikohen shumë nga Italia dhe komunikimi i tij i rrjedhshëm në gjuhën italiane do ta ndihmojë jashtëzakonisht gjatë kësaj periudhe, ndërsa ka hedhur poshtë mundësinë për të mësuar gjuhën shqipe.

His choice to live in Albania together with assistant Doriva was received as a surprise by the public, but the Brazilian added that it is very beneficial.

"The Albanian language is one of the most difficult in the world. Contrary to what people say, there is no shortage of work here in Albania. We deal with a lot of analysis, summaries, clips of players from 90 minutes of each of the 30 possible footballers who will be called up.

At least, seven footballers will be called up from Serie A. Of the three important trips, two were to Italy. The others play in England, Spain, Turkey and Greece. I also follow the local championship as we have noticed 2-3 young footballers with a lot of talent to be our part.

I'll be straight with you, I'm confident we can qualify for the Europeans as the group is really balanced."
