The first fear that is recognized and concretized as soon as a person is born, is abandonment. The baby is unable to live alone. She cannot feed, nurse and protect herself.

The baby expects everything from adults and needs constant presence, security and care.

It is precisely the quality of presence, safety and care that develops or not the feeling of abandonment, as the child constantly "tests" the relationship with the adult towards him.

Abandonment is not only a physical absence, scientists call it the disappearance of "emotional authenticity". This disappearance, as the word itself indicates, does not allow man to develop his personal self. To explore emotions, recognize them and develop them through safety and curiosity.

Abandonment does not only happen when the child remains alone physically, but also when he is by the side of the mother or her substitutes.

Abandonment also happens when we lie to the child, when we abuse him, when we label him, curse him, compare him.

Abandonment directly affects a person's self-esteem. The abandoned man feels worthless and above all bad.

When you hear of someone mistreating a woman or another human or even an animal, these individuals have experienced the bitter taste of abandonment.

The automatic mechanisms that are created by bad upbringing make a person insensitive, distrustful or suspicious, vindictive and above all unable to enjoy life.
