Cruise ships forget Durrës/ No one has 'touched' the port since

Since May, no cruise has stopped at the Albanian coast.

In the port of Durrës, the last visit of such a ship was recorded on May 30, when "La belle del'Adriatique" arrived.

This proves the marked decline of this sector.

"It is also difficult, because the port of Durrës is a port built for general goods and not adapted for tourist ships, says Arjan Çyrbja, shareholder of the company "Intermed Shipping". There are also moments when at the last moment we are forced to change the places of the quay for various technical reasons", he adds.

Gjithashtu, ka dhe probleme sigurie në lëvizjen e pasagjerëve nga terminali derisa të dalin në qytet.

Çyrbja tregon se kemi të bëjmë me turistë elitarë dhe mjaft kërkues, kushtet e të cilëve Shqipëria nuk i plotëson.

“Dihet që segmenti i turizmit të kroçerave është pak delikat, që ka kërkesa të larta dhe që përgjithësisht i shprehin pakënaqësitë e tyre. Përpara se kompanitë e anijeve turistike të vendosin të sjellin anijet e tyre në Shqipëri dërgojnë oficerët e tyre për të vlerësuar gjendjen e portit, rrugëve, qyteteve, gjithçka”, shprehet Çyrbja.

Prandaj, deri më sot ky sektor po mbahet gjallë nga anijet e vjetra, tashmë të mësuara me gjendjen e Shqipërisë.
