The International Monodrama Festival ended yesterday evening in the city of Maliqi. A festival that had its culminating night just yesterday, on the beautifully improvised stage in the premises of the "Dhimitër Orgocka" Palace of Culture.

With the play "Medea" by Euripides, with the director and the actress coming from Kazakhstan, the public experienced strong emotions due to the painful and tragic theme contained in this work. The actress's beautiful and emotional performance was welcomed with applause and congratulations from the audience, which had surrounded the whole stage following the show with that special scenography.

For the director of the culture sector in the Municipality of Maliqi, at the same time the organizer and presenter of the festival, this edition was concluded with great success. This is an achievement for the 20th time in a row, which has brought troupes of actors from different countries of the world, with indescribable messages and emotions for art lovers. For Festim Tomorrin, the goal of the festival was achieved. Everything went quite well, it was very much enjoyed by the participants.

"It was completed successfully. This is the most important, it was completed in Maliq, in this environment that you see, which we tried to create. We created it beautifully because the lighting here gave it beauty, made it more beautiful than what All the nights of the festival have been very good, there have been different actors who have brought excitement to the audience from ancient times, very beautiful with the great pain of a mother. But, the goal was achieved, that is the most important thing."

It was difficult to make a decision on the awards by the jury, consisting of two honorable ladies from Macedonia and Belarus, as well as the well-known pedagogue of the University of Korça, Professor Ilir Shyta. The professor shows the 4 most important awards given at this Monodrama Festival, starting with the first award for the best play, and then with the awards for the best director, actor and actress. It was difficult for the jury to select these awards as all the troupes were fantastic in their performance and in the message they conveyed to the public. The best performance was awarded to Medea with the troupe of Greece, performed by the Albanian actress Marsela Lena.

"There were four awards, the first for the best show, for the best direction and for the two best male and female actors. The most outstanding performances of this edition, even though they came in the language of their nations, have managed to convey the message. Of course, the people, the people, succeeded in applauding this festival. It has reached the 20th edition, but I hope there will be more many more years of life. The best play was "Medea", performed by an Albanian actress. The best actor was the Bulgarian actor. He was awarded the best director of Kazakhstan who brought another version of "Medea" today. It was very difficult because there were troops from Italy, Spain, which deserved prizes, but the hot zone of prizes was very little.
