DP Shkodra elections/ Mayor Shkreli withdraws from the race

The current chairwoman of the Shkodra DP, Eliona Shkreli, has announced that she has withdrawn from the race for the upcoming elections in the branch.

Shkreli writes that he has decided to withdraw to give space to the candidates in the race.

Further in her reaction, Shkreli declares that she will continue to be active in the structures of the Democratic Party.

I officially announce my withdrawal from the race for the elections for the chairwoman of the DP Shkodra branch!

Leading the DP Shkodra branch was a great moral, social and political responsibility for me. It was a challenge in a difficult political time in the face of this criminal, corrupt and heartless government towards democrats! It was a challenge in an unequal election process in the face of a criminal state!

I want to thank all the structures of the Democratic Party branch, where thanks to the work and dedication of every democrat and sympathizer, we managed to make the Democratic Party the leading force in Shkodra!

I would like to sincerely thank all the young men and women, women, businesses, etc. for their commitment and valuable contribution during my time as head of the local branch of the Democratic Party of Shkodra. The cooperation with them was undoubtedly valuable and motivating, especially in the election results!

Today, I have decided to withdraw from the race for branch chair, to give space to the candidates running for branch chair to continue the noble mission of uniting all Democrats. I am convinced that the vote of Democrats will decide the election of the right candidate for party chair, who will continue to work with honesty and dedication in the service of Democrats!

We are on the verge of preparations for the local elections to return the Shkodra Municipality to the citizens, and I am convinced that this will be the main challenge of the new branch leader, who will have the maximum support of me and all party structures!

I will be active in the structures of the Democratic Party and in my further political journey with my contribution to the DP, I will be loyal to the ideals of our large family and my political convictions.

I am very honored and appreciated that I was the first woman chairwoman of the Democratic Party of Shkodra branch, which is the city symbol of freedom and democracy. For this, I thank the chairman of the Democratic Party of Albania, Prof. Dr. Sali Berisha, who entrusted me with the leadership of the Democratic Party of Shkodra branch in a difficult situation and in totally unfavorable circumstances that the Democratic Party found itself in during the criminal-corrupt elections of May 11, facing the drug state of Rama and Beci who stole the votes.

Dua të falenderoj drejtuesin politik të Qarkut, prof.Luçiano Boçi për bashkëpunimin dhe përkushtimin e Tij, deputetët znj.Greta Bardeli, z.Bardh Spahia, z.Kliti Hoti, nënkryetarët e patisë znj.Vildana Gushta, z.Qashif Hoxha, z.Ndoc Ashta dhe z.Arben Lushaj për bashkëpunimin gjatë gjithë kësaj kohe në drejtimin e degës së PD në Shkodër!

Falenderoj nga zemra bashkëpunëtorët e mi të ngushtë, sekretarin politik z.Besnik Kastrati dhe atë organizativ z.Gjenarin Kapcari të cilët ishin ndihmesë e madhe dhe krah i fortë në mbarëvajtjen dhe menaxhimin e funksionimit dhe organizimit të degës dhe të zgjedhjeve të 11 majit!

Falenderoj kandidatët për deputetë z.Ted Kopliku, z.Ndoc Ashta, znj.Senada Mehmeti, z.Arben Lushaj, znj.Matilda Matija, z.Liljan Idrizaj për bashkëpunimin  lehtësimin e punës, të cilët u angazhuan me menaxhimin e strukturave dhe gjithë fushatës elektorale!

Falenderim të veçantë dhe mirënjohje kam për të gjitha strukturat e Partisë Demokratike, anëtarët e kryesisë së degës, kryetarë grupseksionesh, seksionesh, sekretarë dhe anëtarë të strukturave. Ata ishin dhe janë lokomotiva e çdo procesi zgjedhor dhe organizativ me bazën, anëtarët dhe simpatizantët e forcës tonë politike dhe votuesit e Partisë Demokratike.

Gjithashtu, një falenderim të veçantë kam për gjithë strukturat që më propozuan në të gjitha grupseksionet e rajoneve të Shkodrës dhe Njësive Administrative, duke më dhënë forcën, dashamirësinë dhe vlerësimin e tyre për kontributin tim në Partinë Demokratike lokale si anëtare e Këshillit Bashkiak dhe si kryetare e komanduar e degës së PD Shkodër!

Falenderoj mediat, gazetarët, kameramanët që ishin gjithmonë prezent në deklarata, takime dhe zhvillime të ndryshme të Partisë Demokratike, duke i dhënë hapsirën e nevojshme forcës më të madhe opozitare në Shkodër dhe Shqipëri!

Dua të falenderoj pa masë aktivin e Partisë Demokratike, çdo anëtar, simpatizant, votues, për mbështetjen që më kanë dhënë dhe më japin me mesazhet e tyre të pafundme, me takime dhe me besimin që i japin figurës time qytetare dhe politike!

Falenderoj gjithashtu çdo banor të territorit të Bashkisë Shkodër që nuk aderon në asnjë parti por edhe ata që aderojnë në parti të majta, të cilët më kanë shprehur shqetësimet tyre mbi problematika të ndryshme të qytetit dhe zonave ku ata jetojnë duke më dhënë besim si një zë i besueshëm për ta’ dhe si një zë opozitar në krah të qytetarit dhe në të mirë të Shkodrës tonë!

Unë kam qënë, jam dhe do jem në Partinë Demokratike, jam dhe do jem zëri i kauzave të Partisë Demokratike, jam dhe do jem zëri i qytetarëve dhe i Shkodrës, jam dhe do jem zëri denoncues i pazareve, korrupsionit dhe i çdo padrejtësie që po i bëhet qytetit tonë nga kryetabashkiaku tashmë I pandehur Benet Beci dhe grupi i tij drejtues që po shkatërrojnë çdo ditë e më shumë identitetin, kulturën dhe trashëgiminë historike të qytetit tonë!

The Democratic Party is on the verge of great developments! The main cause is the technical government and free and fair elections! We must all stand by the Democratic Party, leave behind all kinds of hatred, unite for the good of Shkodra and Albania by being in battle against the enemy of the people of Shkodra and Albanians, against Edi Rama and his narco-state!

All united, we succeed in every cause of freedom and democracy.
