The head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, spoke in the Assembly regarding the protests that have been taking place for a month in front of the Prime Minister's Office.

Addressing the opposition, Balla said that they suffer from Stockholm syndrome, as according to him, citizens took the square from the democrats and now the latter want to join them.

He further mocked the DP MPs, saying that some of them rejoice when they hear the chants "Berisha in prison", that they see the rally as the only salvation from Sali Berisha.

"I told you a week ago in this hall, I will tell you again today. It seems to me that you are suffering from Stockholm syndrome. They have taken your place and since they have taken it from you, you want to join those who have taken your place, even though they anathematize your leader. I heard your MP, who in a play on words about political forces fell into the trap of forgetting the fact that today at the head of the DP is a party secretary. The only party secretary at the head of a party in Albania. Even the boatman of the dictator Enver Hoxha's boat, who was happy when he shook his hand.

Many of you rejoice when you hear the cries of "Berisha in prison", because you see it as the only salvation from Saliu. There are among you who want to be saved from Saliu, you say "God willing, the protest will take Saliu away from us". The protest achieved one thing, the protest defeated you, the protest cannot defeat us. The SP cannot defeat anyone. You are ready to tolerate anyone, as long as they are against us. Why do you attack the protesters all around? Transparency is the best thing", he said.

Among other things, Balla once again stated that Dritan Goxhaj does not have a single day in the Kosovo Liberation Army.

He added that a document made available by KLA veterans was attempted to be used by the opposition for politics.

Meanwhile, there was a call for protesters not to let their protest be stolen.

"You were worried about supporting a certain Dritan Goxhaj, I'm telling you that there is no day in the KLA. You took a document made available by KLA veterans and you are so wicked that you tried to use it for political calculations. I say to the protesters: don't let them steal your protest. Albania was involved in an international digital war without being a real object of this.
