Prime Minister Edi Rama has given a message on the 1st anniversary of the war in Ukraine.

Rama described the resistance of the people of Ukraine, under the leadership of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, as heroic.

 “Ishin të shumtë ata që menduan se pushtimi rus i Ukrainës do të ishte çështje ditësh, por ja ku jemi këtu sot, 1 vit rezistencë heroike e popullit të Ukrainës nën lidershipin guximtar dhe të hekurt të presidentit Zelensky me mbështetjen e botës demokratike dhe tanimë është e qartë për të gjithë se Rusia nuk mund ta fitojë luftën. Dëshiroj të shtoj që kam nderin ta bëj këtë mesazh këtu nga Hiroshima pas një momenti të gjatë dhe jashtëzakonisht të veçantë nderimi në memorialin e të zhdukurve nga goditja e bombës atomike dhe pastaj në muzeun e tmerreve të bombës atomike.
