Expulsion from the Assembly/ Spaho: It is our duty to raise our voice

Democratic Party MP Edmond Spaho has spoken about his exclusion from the parliamentary session.

In an interview for the media, he stated that it is the duty of the opposition to raise its voice in parliament and protest.

He said that 44 deputies have signed for the creation of the Investigative Commission, 6 weeks have already passed and it has not been created yet.

“Ne jemi 44 deputetë që kemi firmosur dhe duhet ta kishte krijuar. Kanë kaluar 6 javë dhe s’ka për ta krijuar. Ne kemi vendosur protestë kombëtare, para parlamentit dhe në parlament. Në këtë kuptim po i kundërvihemi pezullimit të Kushtetutës nga kryeministri sepse nuk e zbaton.

Pezullimi i Kushtetutës do të thotë grusht shteti. Sot grushtet e shtetit nuk i bën dot me ushtri por në këtë formë duke nxjerrë jashtë loje institucionet. Ka ndonjë pushtet që s’e ka kapur?

We in the parliament will not allow it to function normally as long as it does not meet the condition to set up the investigative commission as well as the point for the question-and-answer session that we requested. All the struggle we did in the parliament was of no value because the dictator continues with his mind. We won't let go until it's on our necks. It is our responsibility to speak up.
