Decision of the Constitutional Court on the "Regulation"/ Exclusions

The Socialists in the Council of Legislation in the Assembly accepted the decision of the Constitutional Court on the Assembly Regulation on the punishments of the deputies.

The decision was approved with only 5 votes of the socialist deputies, since the opposition deputies were not present.

According to the approved decision, the 60-day suspensions of DP deputies for arson and destruction of other furnishings remain in force, while the 30- to 60-day suspension is removed for the charge of violence against the Guard. Socialist MP Toni Gogu, in the role of relator, said that they will respect the court's decisions.

In addition, the Council of Legislation was supposed to consider in this meeting two other decisions of the Constitutional Court, for free professions and for investigative commissions, but these two points were postponed until next Friday, since the two rapporteurs Eduard Shalsi and Ermonela Felaj were absent. ./ CNA
