"We were threatened by Beqaj"/ Zhupa: The Guard and the police did not

DP MP Ina Zhupa accused the Guard of the Republic and the Prison Police of not performing their duties regarding the situation the day before in the Presidency of the Assembly at the meeting of the Investigative Committee on Sterilization and Checkup.

During an interview for the media, Zhupa said that the former Minister of Health Ilir Beqaj had threatened him.

"The key witnesses in the Investigative Commission for Health are Edi Rama and Ilir Beqaj. Beqaj remained free on the top floor of the Assembly. Beqaj complained to the deputies, the Guard and the Prison Police did not perform their duty.

Mr. Beqaj received attributes that did not belong to him, these privileges were given to him by Rama e Spiropali. Beqaj opened the door and said "shut your mouth, who are you", he shouted at all the deputies who were in the hall. Beqaj also told Mr. Spaho with signs to 'shut up so I can tell you'.

This is no normal scene. Beqaj should have been accompanied by the Prison Police. Ilir Beqaj was without handcuffs and entered the hall without asking anyone. After that, I called the commander of the Guard and the Guard came and removed the gentlemen there, again without regulation, again as if it was said that the Assembly is more at our service than your place as a deputy.
