Peleshi: The opposition killed the Commission at night to cry during the day

The head of the Parliamentary Group of the SP, Niko Peleshi, accused the opposition of the debate created in relation to the deadlines of the Investigative Commission for the Sterilization Concession".

Peleshi said in the Assembly that even the opposition has a limit and cannot ignore the interests of the citizens.

He stated that the debates at night were limited only to complain today during the day.

"This is the second session that we spend more than two hours with semi-procedures. I have the impression that some of us forget that when we come here, it is not just ourselves, but thousands of citizens who represent and use the mandate to speak for all of Albania, and it seems to you that it counts for your electoral accounts. We tacitly respect the opposition's right to use this platform, but there is a limit. We are following the interests of citizens who want to hear what is being said in the Commission.

If you listened even for 10 minutes to the discussions in the Commission, you would understand which side wanted to do the work and who was there to kill that commission throughout the night and to cry during the day here. They should not keep it with empty discussions whether the discussion would be held by video or not. Power point means a laptop screen projected on the wall or television," Peleshi emphasized./ CNA
