Deadlines of the "Investigation"/ Balla: The opposition's request
Minister of State for Relations with Parliament, Taulant Balla

The Minister of State for Relations with the Parliament, Taulant Balla, opposed the extension of the deadline for the work of the Investigative Commission for Concessions in Health.

Balla said in the plenary session that the opposition's request does not meet any prerequisites.

He declared that the opposition is playing theater, as he claimed to have sabotaged the Investigative Commission for Health.

"The request of the 7 MPs does not meet any prerequisites. In order to extend the commission, the committee has given the authority to extend it. It has only given the Assembly the authority to raise it. As a prerequisite, the legislator has decided that the committee should make an intermediate decision. It happened twice and it was decided by consensus. Today at 16:00 the mandate of the investigative committee ends. You have sabotaged it yourself today a week ago, why didn't you come?

Why did you not submit an interim decision to the commission? It didn't happen. The rules of the Assembly, whether you like it or not, we have a problem there, article 25 is the shortest article and naturally it should, and therefore you would have done well to have come to the special committee yesterday to discuss and the need that the Assembly has for it adjusted its entire internal framework because the truth is that this is the regulation. You can jump up to 4 when it closes because the Assembly has no power to do this until we have an interim decision. You had appealed yesterday's decision of the Conference of Presidents. The debate with you about the rules of the Assembly is a debate that cannot be held with equal parties.

Therefore, either formulate a request to appeal yesterday's decision of the Conference of Presidents and express the hall, even though there is no basis because in the end the request of the 7 deputies is not based anywhere. We did not say in Article 19 that the 7 MPs have the right to request the extension of the investigation. You have learned a little bit of jurisprudence", stressed Balla./ CNA
