Economic Affairs Expert, Dorian Teliti, stated that Erion Veliaj should have left long ago after causing unimaginable damage that weighs heavily on the shoulders of Albanian citizens.

Teliti stated that Veliaj turned Tirana into a money laundering machine and that he was connected to 5D's criminal schemes.

"The majority is trying to pass this off as a success story, which was interrupted simply for a legal aspect, after a three-month deadline passed, but in fact 7 months have already passed. Even though we as municipal councilors have been demanding Veliaj's removal from the Municipality of Tirana for years, and we protested last year with 44 protests, despite the conditions, for his removal, we did not have him in the votes in the Municipal Council as the opposition. We have proposed his removal, and the last one was in May. Now, the majority has taken a unilateral initiative, provoking and creating a narrative that says that Veliaj is leaving due to his long absence from office, but not for his failures.

In fact, it's the opposite. The last reason why he left is his absence, but he left for the great damage he has caused to Tirana. Unimaginable damage. Taxes in Tirana have increased 2-10 times, living has become more expensive for citizens, and this municipality does not provide services. Starting with kindergartens and kindergartens. Why didn't they take measures during these 10 years of government and municipality leadership to build them?

There are no more atolls for the elderly to go out and move around. The villages have been abandoned for 10 years, without subsidies and without infrastructure.

Veliaj should have left office long ago, because he connected the criminal schemes of 5D. He should have left for the drinking water that is missing from our taps today. Why have no measures been taken to date? Why should we trust a team that, in the future, will solve the problems that they did not solve in 10 years, in the future?

10 years in office and we are still talking about building schools, nurseries, kindergartens and parks. Erion Veliaj has managed a staggering budget, nearly 4 billion euros. He could have done wonders for Tirana. Meanwhile, the report from three months ago comes out, where Tirana is the most unsuitable city to live in on the latest list.
