Veliaj's dismissal/Meta: SP councilors should have resigned

Freedom Party leader Ilir Meta has commented on the dismissal of Erion Veliaj.

In an interview for Syri TV, Meta stated that along with Veliaj's dismissal, the SP municipal councilors should have also resigned.

According to Meta, in addition to the elections in Bahçe?ti, there should also be elections for the Municipal Council.

"A very belated and immoral act by the socialist councilors, who should have submitted their resignations yesterday to pave the way for new elections for the Municipal Council as well."

"For more than two years, they have been the blind supporters of the former mayor in many illegal acts, starting with the financing of the incinerator that does not exist from the municipal budget," Meta said./ CNA
