"To spur Veliajn"/ Tedi Blushi calls for participation in the protest
Protest in front of Tirana City Hall

Tedi Blushi has called on the citizens to participate today in the protest that will take place in front of the Tirana City Hall, where the resignation of Erion Veliaj will be demanded again. 

"Today, COME TOO, at 11:00, in front of Tirana City Hall to demand the impeachment and arrest of the Actual Owner of Tirana's incinerator and the Chairman of the criminal organization 5D, Erion Veliaj! COME TOO YOU to protest against the relentless theft of taxes, against violence and social exclusion, against the criminal seizure of property and the illegal demolition of houses, against murderous air pollution, against the disappearance of green spaces and against the concretization of the capital.  When Justice with Regius amnesties and protects the corrupt, it's the PEOPLE THAT ARRESTS," writes Blushi in a post on social networks. 


Today's protest comes after the scandal of the "5D" file, where its directors, or rather its associates, are behind bars for tender abuses and the theft of millions of euros. 

Meanwhile, investigations by SPAK continue and it is expected that there will be other persons under investigation. The head of the Municipality of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has also been summoned to the Special Prosecutor's Office for this scandal. /CNA
