Youth Day/ Democratic Party protest-march in Tirana

The youth of the Democratic Party have today called a march-protest in Tirana to recall the movement started 34 years ago in the Student City that established pluralism in the country within 72 hours.

Among the young people present will be the former prime minister and at the same time the head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha. The protest will start at 11:00.

With the motto "We don't have the luxury to celebrate", the young people will start from the "Student City" and stop at the Prime Minister's Office.

The Democratic Party invites every young person to join the march, stressing that the Albanian youth does not have the luxury to celebrate this day as a day of celebration, as long as the Renaissance has exposed them to the drastic exodus and massive criminalization.

"At 11:00, in commemoration of December 8, 1990, Youth Day, FRPD marches to honor the heroic act of the students who ignited the flame of democracy in Albania.

The march will start from the Student City to continue towards the Prime Minister's Office.

The chairman of the Democratic Party, Prof. Dr. Sali Berisha.
