The number of mandates in the parliamentary elections is determined / Tirana

The Regulatory Commission has approved the number of mandates for the 12 regions of the country and the establishment of electoral administration areas.

Based on the decision, Korça was given a mandate, which was taken by Tirana, bringing the number of deputies in the capital to 37.

The Commission determined the boundaries and elevation of 93 Electoral Administration Areas for the Assembly Elections, which will be held on May 11, 2025.

Number of mandates for each district:

Berat District - 7 mandates

Dibër District - 5 mandates

Durrës District - 14 mandates

Elbasan District - 14 mandates

Fier District - 16 mandates

Gjirokastra District - 4 mandates

Korçë District - 10 mandates

Kukës District - 3 mandates

Lezha District - 7 mandates

Shkodër District - 11 mandates

Tirana District - 37 mandates

Vlora District - 12 mandates

The Commission determined the boundaries and elevation of 93 Electoral Administration Areas for the Assembly Elections, which will be held on May 11, 2025.

Municipalities that have more than 80,000 citizens with the right to vote are divided by the CEC into more than one ZAZ, respecting the criterion of the indivisibility of the territory of the administrative unit, the continuity and compactness of the territory, geographical barriers, good opportunities for communication within the territory and approximate number of voters./ CNA
