This Thursday, December 7, at 10:00 a.m., the plenary session is expected to be held.

The Parliament is expected to discuss and vote on several issues such as the draft law on excise duties, the draft law on tax procedures, the draft law on national taxes, as well as the draft law on the 2024 Budget.

There may also be discussions outside the agenda.

But regardless of the agenda, the opposition has expressed its determination to continue its action in the Parliament.

Even the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has informed in his meetings with the PD Assemblies in different places of Albania that the action will continue outside the Parliament.

The opposition demands the fulfillment of three conditions to return to the normal functioning of the Parliament, among which is the establishment of investigative commissions.

However, it remains to be seen if it will be the majority that will withdraw and meet the conditions, will the action continue, will there be some other form of compromise or will the end of the year find the parliament in this position./ CNA
