Politician Dashamir Shehi commented today on the results of the parliamentary elections in Hungary.

Invited to the show 'Noë', Shehu said that Viktor Orbàn's defeat came after a prolonged period of power, while emphasizing that it is still unknown what the elected Prime Minister, Peter Magyar, will do next.

The sheikh also focused on a much-discussed parallelism over the past few hours between the political situation in Hungary and Albania, although according to him, such an issue needs a more in-depth analysis.

The Albanian opposition, in a way, has been hopeless. The parallelism between the two countries, the two peoples and the two histories is different and needs a deeper analysis. The parallel is that a prolonged power is tiring. The second reason that Orban lost is that for many years, he has separated Hungary from Europe. The Hungarians chose Europe. They got closer to Russia, which has been the traditional enemy of Hungary. For some problems that have occurred here in our region, Orban has not been on our side.
