"Serbia will avoid increasing the prestige of Albania"/ Nazarko

On December 6, there will be two very important events in the country, which have caused quite a bit of controversy.

On one side is the EU-Western Balkans summit, where Vucic's non-participation is being discussed, as well as the opposition's call for protest.

Regarding Vucic, the analyst Mentor Nazarko said that Kurti's decision was simply a pretext for the Serbian president not to come to Tirana, since he does not want to see Albania grow in the eyes of Europe.

Nazarko further said that our country is receiving attention from the EU and that Albania will have an increase in its prestige.

"Even if the selection of Tirana to host the EU Summit is in alphabetical order, this does not reduce their appreciation for Albania. If Serbia was more western they could hold the summit there. Albania is experiencing an increase in its international prestige. She is a member of the Security Council. This is a moment that counts for Albanians. Vucic has found an excuse not to come to Tirana. Apart from avoiding the increase in the importance of Albania, Serbia will invent something more meaningful", said Nazarko. /CNA.al
