Democratic Party MP, Saimir Korreshi, has described the Territorial Reform as a failure, while commenting on the statements made by the head of the SP Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla.

In a statement to CNA.al, Korreshi said that the Special Commission for Administrative-Territorial Reform aims to cover the failure of the reform.

“Komisioni në vetvete ka për qëllim që dështimin e Reformës Territoriale, sepse ka dështuar Reforma Territoriale nga çfarë u llogjikua dhe u dha si ide që do të kishte më shumë autonomi vendore, ndërkohë që me ligjin dhe bashkëqeverisjen ata po e marrin autonominë vendore që kishte kryetari i bashkisë. I bie që me ligj ata kanë të kontrollueshme nga agjensia e bashkëqeverisjes. Po i heqin avash avash edhe autonominë. Përshembull, në vend që t’i shtojnë, po i heqin ujësjellësat, e gjithë ana financiare në këto bashkitë e vogla ujësjellësat janë. Duhet të ketë më shumë pushtete vendore dhe duhet të ketë më shumë vendimmarrje ”, u shpreh ai.

Më tej, deputeti demokrat theksoi se vëmendja duhet përqendruar më tepër te arsyet e dështimit të Reformës Territoriale.
