Another amendment of the PD is defeated/ Balluku: Your request interrupts the continuation of the projects

DP has proposed through an amendment to change the value of the budget expenditures of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy for the tripling of the road maintenance fund.

This amendment was defeated after 55 MPs voted against it.

For this amendment, Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku said that the opposition is demanding that the ongoing projects be stopped.

Balluku emphasized that 90% of the budget is for ongoing projects and that DP's request would prevent the projects from being completed.

"I want to inform you that 90% of the budget are ongoing projects. Your request would cause projects not to be completed", said Balluku.

This amendment was defeated with 55 votes against, 21 votes in favor and 0 abstentions./ CNA
