The Assembly returns to plenary session on Tuesday, starting at 10.00. The 2025 budget is expected to be discussed on the agenda.

The chairman of the DP, Sali Berisha, will also participate in this session after about a year, after the GJKKO revoked the "house arrest" security measure imposed on him.

Meanwhile, the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party requests an urgent interpellation with the Prime Minister for the execution of the 110 million euro payment of the Albanian state to the Italian businessman, Francesco Becchetti.

In a letter addressed to the Speaker of the Assembly, the leader of the democratic group, Gazment Bardhi, writes that:

"Although Prime Minister Edi Rama has continuously denied that Albania would pay compensation of 110 million euros to entrepreneur Becchetti and his partners, the processes initiated by the Albanian government at ICSID and other international tribunals failed to produce any change, as pertains to the clear obligation of the Albanian state for the full repayment of the financial bill for the closure and destruction of Agonset television. In the second week of November, the Albanian media widely reported that a Belgian executor had managed to execute the full value of the damage in favor of the Italian businessman through Albcontrol's funds, which were kept blocked in the Eurocontrol account since December 2020". / CNA
