Berisha: Port of Durrës, a stone in the neck for Albanians

The head of the DP, Sali Berisha, stressed today at the conference with journalists that the Port of Durrës is the biggest corrupt affair in history.

According to Berisha, the port is a pain in the neck for every Albanian, from pensioners to farmers.

"The Port of Durrës is primarily a burden for pensioners, but not only for them.

Of all those Albanians who are threatened by poverty and they are 46 percent of the Albanian population.

Of all Albanian farmers who receive 44 million euros from this budget and who provide over 20 percent of domestic production.

Pensioners are expected to receive 16 million euros for indexation," Berisha said./ CNA
