The head of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, responded to the Minister of Health, who described the opposition's proposal for the establishment of the minimum living wage as alms.

During his speech in the plenary session, Bardhi told the majority that if they did not like the proposal of the opposition, then bring another proposal, it is enough that the Albanians no longer live in poverty.

Among other things, he added that the SP used pensioners every four years to get the vote. 

"This is not called alms, but it means keeping the promises you made to the Albanians before you came to power. You have reduced the list of reimbursable medicines and you call the vital minimum of 200 euros alms for pensioners who cannot buy the medicines you need.

Bring in a new proposal for a living wage and we'll vote it out right away since they didn't like ours. It is enough that no Albanian remains without a vital minimum and that they are not in extreme poverty.

Your philosophy is a fraud and once every four years you use honest pensioners only for votes and you pocket the money that should go to increasing pensions.

You can no longer lie to the pensioners that you tell them, we will see how much will be left over for you from what we will steal."/CNA
