Dorjan Teliti, the head of the Economic Department in DP commented on Saturday, the changes made to the state budget by the government. In a statement to the media, Teliti said that the budget review does not address any real problems and does not support the business of producers, pensioners or the needy.

He stated that no one needed the changes except for the further strengthening of the police state, especially in the pre-election period.

STATEMENT:

Dear citizens!

Two days ago, we were presented with the revised budget for the current year. Who were these budget changes for? What challenges, issues and problems does it address? Does it come in support of small and medium business, entrepreneurship and producers?

No, it doesn't talk about them at all. Zero support packages, no tax breaks.

Does this budget help pensioners and the needy?

No, they are trying to lie to the Albanians with half a cock at the end of the year and with allegedly indexation of pensions, rejecting the establishment of the vital minimum, a proposal which the DP has submitted to the Assembly since June.

Moreover, they have decided to reduce the annual fund for economic aid and disability by 1.2 million euros.

Does this budget help the former political victims? No!

But who needed these changes in the budget then?

They needed further strengthening of the police state, especially in this pre-election period, where the government will increase the number of effectives in the field by a full 500.

It was needed by the "de jure" and "de facto" owners of hundreds of millions of concessions, whose funding is not only not affected, although some procedures are already under investigation and trial, but it is increased, and they are the first to be paid as soon as the bill is paid. goes to the treasury branch for liquidation.

As if this money were not enough, they have also increased by 1.7 million euros the annual fund for the maintenance and luxury reconstructions of government villas.

It was necessary for the construction friends of the reconstruction process, who after receiving multi-million euro tenders without competition and with accelerated procedures within the limit of the inflated fund limit, with the promise that the reconstruction process would be completed within the first one or two years - although we are in the fifth year - the citizens have not yet entered their homes, these builders will receive an additional 20 million euros, from the government's generosity with Albanian taxpayers' money.

Electoral strips were needed for the upcoming elections, where the great desire to open as many tenders as possible prevails over the financing of ongoing projects, leaving important projects such as the Arbri Street or the Tirana Ring Road still unfinished.

Moreover, in an act completely in violation of sound financial management norms, the government has opened the way for next year's tenders to start the procedures in September of this year, although the 2025 budget will come up for discussion in Assembly of Albania in November of the coherent year.
