From Prague, at the Security Forum, Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke again about Albania's integration into the European Union.

In the discussion panel with the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen and the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb, the head of the Albanian government, Edi Rama that Albania will never say no to the union, but there was criticism saying that more should be done before it is too late.

He emphasized that Albanians are Europeans and this, according to him, cannot be decided in Brussels.

"This fact is not established today in Brussels, we are a European country. This is not decided in Brussels. However, I have a slightly different approach than Alexander. For what he said Macron was the biggest promoter of enlargement. Europe needed Vladimir to attack Ukraine so it wouldn't take for granted that BP is there. Suffice it to say the blue horizon will be yours, but for now we need to do some other things, yes this is based on merit. Is it really merit based, I'm not sure about that. BP is here, it's not expansion. It is union. When it comes to Albania, we are Europaeans, stubbornly in love with Europe. We do not take no for an answer, we will be with the EU until the end, as we were with Stalin. We will be with the EU even when it disappears.
