Xhaçka's mandate/ DP deputy: SP has no more arguments

DP MP Dhurata Çupi has stated that the SP will no longer be able to defend former minister Olta Xhaçka after the Assembly voted to review her mandate on September 12. According to the SP deputy, there is no longer any defense argument against the deputy.

"The assembly voted in favor of reviewing Xhaçka's mandate in the session of September 12. In a democratic country, the decisions of the Constitution cannot be undone. The SP no longer has any defense arguments against Xha?ka. We have consistently denounced the government's corruption and arrogance. The majority as a whole covers the evil with a greater evil", said Çupi.

He also spoke about the deputy Vullnet Sinaj, saying that he benefited millions from the public budget.

"Even Vullnet Sinaj has benefited millions from the public budget. It is unimaginable for SP deputies to misuse their duties. There are reports from Transparency International that Vullnet Sinaj has influenced the passage of several laws. We took Xhaçka to the Constitutional Court twice. We cannot be silent about things that are not going well, that are against the Constitution of the country. As for SPAK, we think it was wrong with Mr. Sali Berisha, hitting the leader of the opposition, but we support the work of justice, as 26 mayors are under investigation," said deputy Çupi./ CNA
