Prime Minister Edi Rama was present at the signing ceremony of the agreement with AADF (Albanian-American Development Foundation) for the revival of the Elbasan fortress.

He says that the revival of the fortress of the city of Elbasan will be a development engine for the city.

Rama also focused on the comments of the opposition to the project for Butrint of the Albanian-American Development Fund. He described the opposition as persecutors of the AADF.

Another investment in Elbasan is the car park that is expected to be built, which according to the Prime Minister will bring great development to the city.

Coming here today to the castle of Elbasan, I remembered a dear friend of mine in Elbasan, Qazim Sejdini, and I remembered the conversations we had with him some time ago about how the Castle could enter the path of transformation of Elbasan, like a real engine development. Then, we revisited this topic together with Evis. Evisi, as born in the Castle, as a representative of this civic core of Elbasan, that within the walls of the castle is felt, so to speak, the upper layer of the city's history, has insisted all the time that we focus and move faster for the transformation of the neighborhood and then also the creation of the partnership with the Albanian Development Fund, which is already known to many more people than it actually should be known, thanks to the good fortune that there is a personal stalker, a canary character, in the zoo of Albanian politics who sings persistently, making in a way the "owl" of the Fund's affairs and after the ADF has "successfully robbed Butrinti" and managed to be put in possession of a national asset, "violating the territorial sovereignty of the Republic of Albania", has now joined us to "rob" the Elbasan castle, but we have assured that the "robbing" will is realized here and they will not take the Castle and move it to another territory of the world.

Beyond the way I am expressing this "disaster" that has fallen on the head of the Fund to have a private stalker who does not share it, I want to say that now we are in the conditions where all the vision and preliminary preparation of the work for the transformation of the neighborhood can consider it guaranteed with this partnership between the government, the municipality and the Albanian Development Fund, which has a long experience already in the transformation of these realities, which is a strategic partner of the government with which we have carried out works that speak itself, from the so-called "beat" areas that, as you can see here, are in the group of projects that include the castle of Elbasan, to other areas or points of development that include supporting the education of the youngest with the Tumo model technology which is a beautiful success story thanks to the Fund's contribution and which will also extend here in Elbasan where at the former maternity hospital we will create a center of knowledge for digital technology for children, in partnership with the municipality and Fund and most likely also with our Development Fund and definitely with Butrint which is, in my view, the most precious jewel in the crown because thanks to the expertise that the Fund brings, thanks to the administration culture that the Fund brings, which we are seeing gives us a constant result at the Pyramid of Tirana, we can see the future of the National Park with great optimism and we can see how new values ??are being added now. The project of the hospitality center in the National Park, in the sense of the information center for visitors, realized by the famous architect Kengo Kuma has been considered universally, not by us, as one of the 25 most influential projects of 2024 by the organizations that make these assessments internationally.

We are working with the Fund in Durrës, in the archaeological area of ??Durrës, that is, in the neighborhood around the Amphitheater, which is a very similar work in terms of characteristics to the work we will do here in Elbasan, and we are waiting for the Fund's stalker to appear in the castle as soon as possible. and to sing the song of the canary-looking owl so that we may receive this blessing that we need.

Here in Elbasan there is an unshakable belief in garlic as an important component of warding off the evil eye, but if the canary owl would grace us with a visit here, we would be very grateful because it would give us the opportunity to to strengthen this mafia, corrupt, criminal relationship with the Albanian Development Fund and put all the money of the joint crime at the disposal of the city of Elbasan, convinced that there would be no evil eye approaching us anymore because we would have a garlic 2.0 at our disposal.

You'll excuse my pathetic enthusiasm when I remember the fact that the Foundation is so lucky to have a stalker, not that I've missed stalkers, but I've never had one in this kind of tweeting form.

To come to the castle and to Elbasan, there is a fact that must be addressed and overturned. While Berat, which has started the process of rebirth and transformation as a function of tourism and has actually turned tourism into a powerful engine of the local economy where the Fund definitely has its own contribution in partnership with us and has increased in 800 thousand, Berati, 800 thousand tourist visitors. Elbasan is today we are talking about 20-25 thousand visitors. While the number of visitors and tourists in the fortress of Berat has long exceeded 100,000, there are about 4,000 in the fortress of Elbasan.

These numbers can and will be reversed very quickly with the castle project. Elbasan Castle has a history and has several components that have tremendous potential. The vice-president mentioned the aspect of the presence of religions through their symbols inside the castle, but there are also many other elements even if we will manage to do and we will definitely do it at the right time and in the right way, a "criminal level" project of the Albanian Development Fund, then we will absolutely have one, - you are running out now, (representatives of the Albanian Development Fund) that while I am speaking, you are anticipating what will happen to you ears listen. And now we have nothing to do, we can't wait to have as many new feeds as possible in this association of victims of defamation. We are pleased when others are struck who remember that life is so easy, even when they join us in this society of victims of slander.

So I believe that by using all these hidden components that the castle has, we will manage to have a very large increase in the number of visitors inside the neighborhood and this will make the value of the property, the value of the property, in neighborhood to grow exponentially and here then Evisi will get his share of the canary song for conflict of interest and definitely with a request to remove the mandate in the Constitutional Court and on the other hand that is in harmony with the development that continues for the motor park, plus what we are doing and I am very glad that Arbi, who in this territory also has a direct responsibility, now also as a representative of the ruling political majority, has become a reliable partner of the municipality to move to a new phase of development, even using the great potential in the former Metallurgical Plant, to practically have in Elbasan a new pole of Tirana, a metropolis.

In fact, Durres, Dibra and Elbasan are three branches or are three natural branches of the metropolis of Tirana and so with this development with these components, I believe that sooner than later all those who live in Elbasan will actually be, not simply from from the point of view of distance, but also from the point of view of economic and social integration, part of the metropolis of the capital.

And in closing, I want to add something related to what the Minister of Economy said, that when it comes to the motor park, just like the Castle, in fact, we are not in the conditions of an investment for those three days of Formula 1, which of course is the transition to a completely different level of Albania, as is currently happening. In a few days we will be in Rome for the wider official presentation of Albania's participation in the tour of Italy, as the place where the big launch will take place and this will bring us the eyes of 200 countries in the case of the 200 tour, in three days, in three different areas, Durrës, Tirana and Vlorë, where practically for the entire period of the live broadcast from 200 televisions of the world, touristic Albania will be seen and will be seen the place to visit, while with Formula 1 we pass to 1 billion viewers to have their eyes on Elbasan in those days, the three days of race trials, and meanwhile the Automotorpark will operate 365 days of the year. It will be a point that will function as a point of many services that will perform as a point of road safety education, national road safety education, that will perform as a point for competitions of different levels of motorcycling and that will to function also as a point for daily tourism for many, many reasons with the museum, recreational areas and others.

So, in short, the future is, it is there, it is ahead of us, and if today we look at the horizon of membership in the European family within this decade - which falls within our fourth term, to be declared ready to enter the European family - this period also coincides with this transformation of Elbasan and this overcoming of Elbasan to another level. At a level where all the tourist flow today has a large concentration in Tirana, that no one imagined until not many years ago that Tirana would be a tourist destination, a city that in the summer period was virtually dead and that today it is full and has year-round tourism - Elbasan should be part of this history of transformation.
