Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu saw up close the new sports grounds of the "Adem Haxhija" school and the new sports teams in the schools.

Prime Minister Edi Rama continued his project inspections in the city of Shkodra with a visit to this school.

Minister Manastirliu said that investments in the schools of Shkodra, but also in the whole country, will revive the sports spirit among young people.

"Investments for sports fields, as part of the 'School Sports Teams' Program, are massively restoring the sports spirit to young people, through the creation of new, completely modern infrastructures that offer young people the opportunity to practice a greater number of disciplines sports. In the united secondary school "Adem Haxhija" in Postriba, Shkodra, the new field is an opportunity to enliven sports life. The sports fields, basketball court, volleyball court and socks have just been completed. Practically, this is how the school comes to life as a community center because during the afternoon they will continue to be open and we will organize with the Olympic Committee, that is, with the coaches. In Shkodër, we are investing in three schools, sports grounds and investments in gyms. There is the school "Adem Haxhija", the school "Martyrs of Pristina" and "Preng Jakova" and meanwhile we are also investing in the rehabilitation of two schools and their gyms, "Ndre Mjeda" and "Kolë Idromeno", said Manastirliu

Minister Manastirliu said that investments in schools in Shkodër amount to 6 million euros, while in the whole country 3 billion euros

"There are 6 million euros made available for investments in Shkodër. There are 3 billion ALL made available for all investments in the education system throughout the country. We are working to open new school sites for 2025." - she said
