Analyst Andi Bushati spoke this Thursday about the investigation of the Special Prosecutor's Office against the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj and his family members.

Invited to a TV show, Bushati said that the Socialist Party will not feel it at all if Erion Veliaj falls, as he is easily replaceable.

According to him, Prime Minister Edi Rama does not protect him because he is afraid that the same story as with Arbe Ahmetaj will not be repeated.

"I don't think this is Rama's defense. Rama is rather ambiguous. All the speeches that Rama has given since Tahiri are compared to those that he has not made a decision about what he will do. On the one hand, he is ready to let go, on the other hand , is suffering because he doesn't want an Ahmetaj 2. In his best dreams, he wants Veliaj to go to prison, saying that Rama is protecting me. There is no political message when he talks about Veliaj.
