Prime Minister Edi Rama during the ceremonial evening 'Sport Stars', for Albanian athletes who have excelled in the international arena for 2024, said that the government is committed to supporting sports.

The Prime Minister made a call to the president of the Albanian National Olympic Committee, Fidel Ylli, and the Ministry of Education, to increase sports disciplines in schools.

"It is very true, I was very positively affected when the President of all the Committees, Thomas Bach, expressed to me extraordinary considerations for the Albanian Olympic Committee, he expressed extraordinary considerations to me for the passion for the organization, for the seriousness and for the fact that despite that it is a very small committee has distinguished itself according to his words and I understand very well why for a series of innovations that he has brought either with the big sports movement of schools or with the digital broadcasts of the activities of the Committee, federations, even recently, there was no other way. Thanking and appreciating the Committee, in fact I do not forget that the Committee is the umbrella of the federations and I want to express special consideration to the leaders of a number of federations, the presidents of a number of federations.
