On Friday, the 41st protest/ Kelliçi: We will continue with the
Political leader of the DP for Tirana District, Belind Kelliçi

Political leader of the DP for Tirana District, Belind Kelliçi, has given a statement to the media regarding the pre-election situation.

As far as the investigation against former Prime Minister Sali Berisha is concerned, Këlliç described it as a politically motivated decision.

"The year started in a completely unexpected and politically ugly way, with the call of the head of the DP to SPAK, to appear twice a month. It wasn't the best start, not even for the citizens."

On the other hand, Kelliçi emphasized that the Democratic Party will continue with the denunciations of various corrupt affairs and at the same time it is presenting its 'offer' to the Albanians.

"We have entered the last 4 months of the electoral battle. The political message of the DP is divided into several lanes, but they run parallel. We continue with our denunciations of various affairs, there will be new reports of corruption in the municipality of Tirana. In parallel, the denunciations about the connections of the governors with organized crime. Only one paragraph of Mr. Berisha made 5 accusations against Taulant Balla. There is still no position, either from Balla to refute it or from the prime minister of the country. We also have the offer to reduce the price of oil. We have a few weeks to unveil our economic plan, for the minimum living wage, the minimum pension and the minimum wage. The average salary will reach the figure of 1200 Euros."

He announced that on Friday at 11:00, the opposition will hold the 41st protest in front of the Municipality of Tirana.

"We continue to be in an action of civil disobedience, on Friday we return with a protest in front of the municipality. The 41st protest, a record in front of an institution. In the meantime, we continue with daily contact with citizens." /CNA
