Reducing the price of energy/ Rama: Well thought out measure

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a press conference with Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, spoke about reducing the price of electricity to 8.5 Lek for consumption up to 700 kWh.

Rama said that reducing the price of energy is a well-thought-out measure and discussed at all levels.

"Today's price reduction is a complete counter-trend to the region and continent we live in, where prices have not only increased, but are threatened by further increases.  

This is a more than well thought out measure. Widely discussed at all levels, based on the projections of our strategic plan for full energy sovereignty and the return of Albania to a net transporter of energy within the 4th mandate and taking into account the universally announced principle of the government to share with citizens, the fruits of the government's reforms and an economic growth that for 2025 we see in the range of 4%, which is a significant figure", said Rama./ CNA
