The Democratic Party has sounded the alarm that Prime Minister Edi Rama is endangering the return of visas for Albanians.

According to DP spokesperson, Floriana Garo, the Czech Republic, the country holding the EU Presidency until the end of the year, has requested that Albania, together with Serbia, return their visa regime.

"The request came after the delays and the absurd disagreement of the Rama government not to unify the visa criteria for citizens of third countries with the EU, which enables different nationalities to use Albania as a gateway to the countries of the European Union", Garo said. .
