The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has released a video message for students and teachers for the start of the new academic year.

Meta "advises" students and teachers to unite and raise their voice against the Government.

Attempting to steal the cause of the lecturers for the raised demands, he says that he will line up with their protest.

"The most heartfelt congratulations to all students, especially those who are sitting in the auditorium for the first time, at the beginning of the new academic year!

The university years are the most important to equip yourself with knowledge that will make your future more secure.

Today, it is time to have a quality university life and independent from the government, which serves only the students and the future of Albania.

I call on the students to unite and raise their voices together with the lecturers, who today are giving a lecture to the entire society on how to restore dignity at work, how to exercise the constitutional rights to protest and strike, to demanding dignified wages and decent working conditions.
