Rama warns of a "sweep" in the SP/ Presidency, Assembly and new

Prime Minister Edi Rama announced a "broom" in the Socialist Party.

Rama declared at the Congress of Socialists that the SP will have a new Chairmanship, a new Assembly and renovation of the SP forums.

He emphasized that the changes will take place in the spring, when the SP will hold an election congress.

"We must start working with the platform next year, we must prepare to have an electoral congress of the SP for a new leadership and a new assembly in the spring, because we do not want those who vote for us to have no confidence.

It no longer suits us to love them from afar and to listen closely to the working people just for the sake of elections... It doesn't suit us to talk about the party academy and we still haven't set it up. We must work very seriously until spring and come up with a renewal plan in all major party forums," said the head of government./ CNA
