"Politics should serve the citizen"/ Who is Pranvera Skana, the

Socialist Party candidate for MP, Pranvera Skana, in a status on social media, expressed why she chose to run for MP in the May 11 elections.

Skana also made a presentation of her profile.

 

" I am Pranvera Skana.

My candidacy is not a coincidence. It is the result of a long journey, between education, work, dedication and belief in the power of knowledge and the power of Albanian women. I come to this race with my experience as a teacher, as an educated person, as a woman who believes that politics is not a privilege, but a service and responsibility to people. I am based on a political philosophy that I deeply believe in: politics should be in the service of the citizen, built on work, knowledge, vision and honesty. I find inspiration in Edi Rama's European vision for Albania 2030 — an Albania that looks ahead, that invests in youth, culture, education and, above all, in women as a force for change — just as I have had the opportunity to experience it myself as an educated and employed girl in the European Union.

"I am a candidate because I believe that the voice of women, girls, young people, teachers, farmers and every honest citizen deserves to be heard, respected and represented. I ask for your vote, your trust and your cooperation to raise our voice higher — for a European, knowledgeable, strong and just Albania ," writes Skana./ CNA
